Saint Mark's 2010
Country Fair
Saturday, October 23
New Time! 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
September 2010
Dear Saint Mark's Family and Friends,
Save the date and note our new time! No more rushing back and forth between soccer games and sweating under the hot sun. Come after all your morning activities and stay for a while! Enjoy your evening under the stars with other Saint Marks’ families while listening to wonderful, live entertainment.
Look forward to a day filled with lots of old-fashioned family fun while celebrating our school's 50th Anniversary! There will be a pie and chili cook-off, games, fantastic prizes, giant slide, ultimate obstacle course, as well as the funtastic Silly String booth and famous Confetti Eggs. More fun for the younger set as well: pony rides, kiddie bumper cars, and games geared especially for them.
For the first time, we will be offer wristbands for unlimited fun on certain activities*. Food and game booth tickets will still be available making it an affordable day for all. Enjoy the tasty Burger Barn or Alegria Cafe and the new delicious "All American" offerings added to our food booths this year.
Our Country Fair Team has been working hard over the summer to make this another fabulous event. As always, we need every family’s participation to make this day a great success. Please see the sponsorship page and consider what is right for you! There are many levels of opportunities to fit every budget. Be a sponsor at the Grand Old Flag level and your business/family name will be recognized on our banner at school and on our new colorful flyer to be posted around town. All sponsors will be acknowledged on our website and signage throughout the fair. (Please complete sponsorship by Friday, September 24, 2010 for name recognition in media.)
Also available are the new ANNIVERSARY Tee Shirts, commemorating this milestone event! Pre-order on-line and we'll have your order ready, along with special pre-sale ticket packages, during designated "Pre-Sale" days at Community Coffee or the Blue Tent Drop-off Area.
Lastly, we need your help to make this event successful and fun for our children! Remember, every parent is required to work at least one 2-hour shift for the Fair, so please plan accordingly. We cannot do this without all of your help! Let's make this 50th Anniversary Country Fair one our children will always remember!
All our best,
Jo-Lynn Battany, Maureen McCollough-Hill, Sandee Hiyake, and Christina Zoumas
